Hey everyone my name is Brit! I was fending for myself and in pretty rough shape before a kind human scooped me up and took me in. It took me a little time to learn that humans can be loving. I don’t mind being held properly for short periods of time as long as I am handled safely and securely. I may be a little shy at first and appear timid around young children if they are too rough.

Another interesting thing about me is that I am very hard of hearing/deaf. It doesn’t hold me back one bit! However, because I cannot hear you, if I am sleeping or do not see you I may be startled at first so visual cues and touching me softly in those instances is helpful. Once I build trust with you, I love to rub my nose and face on yours if you let me. I get playful at night and really show my goofy personality. I typically sleep on my cat tree and wake up for canned food goodies in the morning. There are a lot of foster cats and a dog so I can get a little overwhelmed when things get too busy but I like pets and attention when you come to me and ask. I rest most of the day but love to play if you try to interact with me. I am young and love to play and snuggle with my foster’s other cats and would love a companion as it makes me feel secure and gives me someone to play with. I’m so appreciative of the love and respect I’m receiving in my foster home and hope I can find that in my forever home.

Brit was found as a stray. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
