Name: Silas DOB: 2009 Weight: 10lbs Adoption Fee: $125

Silas is a wonderful dog. He is friendly, does not bark much. Plays a little with my other 2 pups. He usually just likes to lounge around where ever I am. He would do okay with older kids.  He is always near me. We have now discovered that he is also deaf and sometimes needs help keeping him steady. He is a go with the flow kind of guy who just loves being loved on!! He wears a belly band when we are not home.

Silas does have a heart murmur/heart issues. He is on multiple medications to help his condition and help control his cough. He is apart of our hospice program which means he will live in his foster home for the remainder of his journey.

Silas current medications:   Vetmedin, enalapril, and Lasix.

Silas does have the potential to be adopted to a home that is able to take on his vetting needs. They would need to be able to provide him with his current medications and any further medications needs as his heart worsens over time. He will require more vet visits then the average pup and more supportive care as his heart and cough worsen.

He would do best in a home that is on the quiet side. A home that will have plenty of time to give him all the attention he deserves and provide him his medications and vet care.

An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal. Once we receive your application, a placement coordinator will be in contact with you as soon as possible.

Please check out our website, for more details and additional pictures on any of our animals!
