Bindi is an adventurous spirit who would love to find someone to explore the world with!  A good-natured, playful, friendly young adult dog, she likes going for walks and is athletic despite some injuries to her hindquarters early in her life. Bindi has been seen by a neurologist, who informs us that she may have had injuries near her tail. She can feel her legs and has good muscle tone but will need to wear diapers for life. Her foster home is working with simple exercises and stretches, and Bindi is also taking proin to help her build strong bladder muscles. Her perfect family will be home most of the time, will be prepared to continue working with her, and won’t be overwhelmed by her diapers. Bindi lives in a foster home with two other dogs. She wrestles with her foster brother all day and is very bonded to him although doesn’t always like to share her toys. She would love to have a dog companion in her new home. A home without cats would be best, and because she is a herding dog, a home without small children would be best, too. Bindi travels well kenneled in the car and is learning all sorts of new things, like sit and down and jumping onto things (to help build strong muscles). If you have an active family who likes outdoor activities, Bindi may be the perfect dog to share your life with.

An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal. Once we receive your application, a placement coordinator will be in contact with you as soon as possible.
